Nutrition + Health Coaching Services:

 

One-On-One Health Coaching Package:

  • One-on-one coaching sessions offer individualized support on a topic of your choice.

  • You'll work with your dietitian to create a custom plan that makes sense for you.

  • You'll receive the tools and personal attention you need to succeed.

  • Sessions can be held at your office, on the phone, or via webinar.

  • We recommend a package of four sessions to create lasting change. 

 

Group Health Coaching Package:

  • Group coaching sessions are done with a group of participants at your office with a similar goal in mind. 

  • You'll work with your dietitian to create a team based approach to improving everyone's health and wellbeing.

  • You'll receive tools and be guided through collective discussion to keep each other inspired and on task.

  • Sessions can be held at your office, on the phone, or via webinar.

  • We recommend a package of four sessions to create lasting change.

  • Location: Coaching sessions can be on-site at your office, via webinar, or done telephonically.

  • Length: Coaching calls usually range 30 - 60 minutes. 

  • Packages: We recommend a package of four calls: one 60 minute consultation call and at least three 30 minute follow up calls.

Why use a Health Coach?

Health coaching (behavior modification) can truly be successful in helping people make healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes. Making changes to our health and building new habits is really, really hard - having a partner to guide you on your wellness journey will help you be successful! 

There is a growing body of research on its success in the healthcare and corporate/workplace wellness fields. Studies show that health coaches can help people manage chronic conditions, lose weight and keep it off, increase movement and activity, and generally improve their physical and mental health. When you feel better, you work better. In addition: 

  • You’ll learn to become your own coach.
    After a few sessions with a health coach you’ll learn personal tools and tricks to help you reach whatever goal you have set. You can always schedule more sessions down the line if you need an extra boost in your path to success.

  • They help you see what’s really there.
    Sometimes we are clouded by our own history or thoughts surrounding food. A health coach can help you take a step back to see the wider picture and then will help you zero in on the specific areas that might need attention. Examples include: stress eating, lack of preparation or time, and eating out of habit rather than need. 

  • They’re your accountability buddy.
    Going at it alone is hard. You’ll check in with your health coach periodically to assess how things are going and they’ll help you adjust your plan if needed. They’re here to cheer you on and help you reach your goals.

What is a Health Coach call?

Unfold Yoga & Wellness health coach calls provide one-on-one personal support in building healthy, positive and sustainable lifestyle habits. Our registered dietitian will provide guidance, education and resources tailored to your individual needs and help you set sustainable goals that help you live your best life.

 

These calls will support your own unique wellness journey to optimal health, meeting you where you are today and helping you build habits that fit your personal lifestyle. Your health coach is your accountability partner on your wellness journey – helping you custom build your healthy habits and keeping you on track. 

 

You can expect a non-judgmental and compassionate discussion where you and your health coach will work together using your own intrinsic motivation to help you achieve the healthy goals you want to reach. Health Coach calls are typically 30-60 minutes and are provided telephonically for ease and convenience.

Health Coaching Topics: 

 

Stress Eating

In these sessions you'll build awareness around eating patterns related to stress and anxiety, taking a mindfulness-based approach to identifying triggers and tackling undesirable habits. Focus will be placed on cultivating a healthy relationship with food—physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

 

Healthy Eating Habits at Work

We spend the majority of our time at work – shouldn’t this be the place to focus on healthy habits? Eating healthy at work can definitely be challenging – with coworkers’ delicious homemade treats, work-sponsored lunches, stressful days coupled with unhealthy snacking – it can be a daily struggle!

 

In these sessions you'll learn ways to to build healthy habits that fit your unique workplace environment and schedule. Possible areas of focus may include healthy meal prep, behavior change modification techniques, easy and healthy on-the-go snacks, and stress eating at work. 

 

Eating for Optimal Wellness:

What is a superfood? How can you get more anti-inflammatory foods into your day?

 

In these sessions, you'll explore ways to incorporate nutrient dense foods in your lifestyle for optimal nutrition, disease prevention, energy, mood and much more.

 

Learn how good nutrition can help you live your best life! Possible topics may include superfoods, anti-inflammatory foods, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients, disease prevention, eating for increased energy, and food and mood.

 

S.M.A.R.T. Goal Setting

Making lifestyle changes can be difficult and hard to sustain. So often we try big new lofty goals that don’t work out or “fail”.

 

We live in a society where we are constantly bombarded with programs and ideas that we are supposed to overhaul everything in order to be healthy and achieve our goals – the “all or nothing”. 

 

In these sessions, learn how to set S.M.A.R.T. goals to successfully start - and most importantly maintain - healthy lifestyle habits.
