A Mindful New Year - 4 Part Series

A Mindful New Year puts a fresh spin on creating and implementing the infamous, and often stressful, New
Year’s Resolutions.


This 4-part presentation series will provide you with strategies to
make NEW New Year’s resolutions that last. Participants will learn how mindful intention setting not only creates sustainable change, but also cultivates happiness and ease.


Presentation topics include: Intention Setting, Mindful Movement, Mindful Eating, and Creating Habits + Sustainable Change. You’ll learn and practice desk + chair yoga, meditations, and breathing techniques in each presentation that support each topic.




Training Overview:
  • Four, 60-minute in-office interactive presentations.

  • Discussion and research support of the day’s lesson.

  • Demonstration and practice of techniques to support each lesson.


Materials + Support:
  • Manual and weekly handouts describing each technique, tips, and outlines of lessons learned.

  • Intention setting journal + implementation worksheets.

  • Mindful movement yoga cheat sheets to keep at your desk.

  • Free access to our client portal including online desk + chair yoga video library, presentation materials, and handouts.

  • Equipment: no change of clothing or yoga mats / props needed.

Topic 1:

 Mindful Intention Setting

  • Learn the art of intention setting from the yogic perspective.

  • Create New Year’s resolutions through the lens of mindfulness and ease, rather than stress and obligation.

  • Practice meditation techniques to
    connect you to your intention. 


Topic 2:​

Mindful Movement

  • Learn to move from a place of joy and appreciate your body for all does.

  • Class involves chair yoga that stretches and strengthens key muscles so you can sit and move with proper alignment.


Topic 3:

Mindful Eating

  • Improve your relationship with food through mindfulness. Eat to live!

  • Learn techniques for preparing, eating, and enjoying meals - no diets allowed!

  • Practice meditation techniques to
    help you eat more mindfully.


Topic 4:

Creating Habits + Sustainable Change

  • Become aware of habits and pitfalls that derail you from achieving your intention.

  • Learn how habits work, how to make them, and how to keep them.

  • Commit to healthy habits for a year of ease and success.
